The Kiingitanga movement stage a great many hui every year
all around the country as other tribes acknowledge the mana of the Maori
King. The two main categories of gatherings sponsored By the King movement
are the Poukai - annual cycle of visits by the King to Loyal Marae and the
annual Coronation, which is the largest hui regularly staged in New Zealand.
